Ascension and the Consciousness of Struggle and Conflict

It is hard to navigate the many voices and interests filling our media these days, particularly those of various distortions on the role of spirit, ascension and consciousness in what is currently unfolding. And though I use their channels to speak with you, know that my intention is not to convince you of anything or steer you in any particular direction.

Rather, I only offer my limited perspectives to give you greater awareness of what may be going on within you and in your life, so that you may know more about yourself and have more choice over how you see and deal with whatever life serves up for you.

When you turn on the news, it is filled with stories that trigger fear, anger and hatred. Perhaps their words are heartfelt and meant with good intent, but mostly it seems they all push one agenda and narrative — that your life and future are in jeopardy unless you see things as they do and do what they want. And for many of them, that means giving up your free will and opportunities to exercise it to conform to some shifting (and often intolerant) standards of thought and behavior used to divide us and benefit a chosen few.

This is not my perspective, for it detracts from the peace and joy that are rightfully yours in this 3-dimensional world. Rather, I see all the chaos and turmoil as bringing to a head all of the ills carried within the human vehicle that cause us to act in such harsh and harmful ways to each other and this planet on which we ride.

As such, I welcome the horrors I witness. For even as much as I try to turn away, I know these are the End Times of third density consciousness in this 3D world, allowing us to see and address within ourselves all those attributes that lock us into struggle and conflict. And for that, I am grateful to experience all that it shows me in myself, as well as in the collective and individual consciousness of humanity.

I am one who believes in ascension, having spent life after life working for the upliftment of consciousness and how it manifests in our world. But the ascension I know is not one sudden event that will magically transform our reality into something that it now is not.

Instead, it is a gradual unpeeling of the layers of distortion that separate us from the oneness at our core and the divinity that each of us has inside.

As we do, we expand what we know ourselves to be and grow into greater manifestations of the best we have inside, albeit with many fits and starts along the way.

This life has been about the exercise of free will through struggle and conflict, two closely-related concepts involving the application of will and desire. Fueled by an inner discontent with what is, it leads us to strive to become more than what we have created ourselves and our lives to be.

Naturally, the effort to do this creates catalysts through which we can learn and grow when our desires bump up against the free will and desires of others, as well as the circumstances of our lives that impede our efforts. Conflict is the result, and it plays out in many ways.

Struggle is the natural result of trying to make our lives into something that they aren’t, whether that’s to overcome lack and limitation or the effort required to achieve and become more. Discontent with the status quo provides the impetus for us to try and try again, whether we’re successful in achieving our goals or not. And when we have had our fill of falling short, to learn to live with and within our shortcomings and still find peace and joy.

The powers that be are trying to force their wills upon the people. Some welcome their effort and direction; others do not and only go along kicking and screaming, if at all. How it plays our remains to be seen, but what can be known is that their efforts are triggering a great expansion of consciousness for individuals to consider the kind of lives they want to live, and the kind of world needed to live them in.

Others are acting out long-held resentments and oppression against those they perceive did them wrong and blaming class, race or other differences was reasons to take their retribution, unable to accept that they must somehow move beyond those differences if they are to evolve toward the light. Their opposites too often are willing to meet them on the field of battle (politics and social media) or stand against the views and practices they want to force down everyone’s throats.

To all the combatants I say, good for you that you are growing aware of what you feel inside. Now, learn to let it go. Free yourself of the beliefs over which you fight, and trust that by knowing yourself and bringing the best you find inside into your life, that your conflicts will begin to subside and you will learn to live together in new relationships that honor the truth of each of you.

Currently those in conflict see such relationships in terms of power. Who controls behavior? Who sets the rules? Who will benefit from the spoils of your war? These are the tools of service-to-self, and while some of you have chosen such a path for your return to the light, most of you have not and must find a way to balance the interests of self with others and the source of life within you.

It is this balance with which you struggle. Unable to do so and find a center that works for you, your ego demands you fight to preserve your free will and get what you want, the rights or interests of others be damned.

This conflict will not go away as we ascend into higher levels of consciousness, at least not for a long while. But our ability to see and address the various causal factors at play will grow, and with it we will become more and explore better ways to get along. And thus conflict will provide the rungs of the ladder of ascension that we all — at least, all our souls — want to ascend.

This does not mean not to fight, or to roll over and play dead in the face of harm, oppression or wrongdoing. No, we must stand for the best we know inside, and work to bring it into our reality as best we can. Nevertheless, as our vision lifts and our consciousness brings us new awareness, we will have more tools with which to deal with the difficulties life serves up — always making our way, step by step, to the Creator from which we came.

Maybe you don’t believe in a creator, or in spirit, or in ascension either. If not, that’s okay. Or maybe you believe you have to fight for what you want, and overcome all that gets in your way. That’s okay, too.

But know that your beliefs are creating your reality, and bringing you the experiences you need to get from it. Just don’t put too much faith that what you think you know is all there is, or even right, and that what you want is what you have to get, whatever the cost.

For there is always more. Seek it. Become the more that you are.

God bless you indeed.

What Does Ascension Have to Do With Standing Against the Storm?

My readers know that I have encouraged them to “stand,” Why is that? And what does standing against the Storm have to do with their Ascension, or that of humanity, into 4th Density consciousness?

First some background. Ascension is all about expanding consciousness to begin knowing what more you are than what you know yourself to be. That knowing of Self leads to the release of certain beliefs and perceptions that lock you into a perspective that this 3D reality is all there is, and that you are the confusing mishmash of thoughts, emotions and actions that conducts your affairs in this world.

The Storm, on the other hand, is that onslaught of synchronistic events now assaulting our world — and possibly your life — that is forcing you to confront how you see and relate to the world around you. It is a series of events that, taken together, act much like a hurricane that requires you to prepare to meet the force of its winds and rains, shuttering your windows and then riding out the storm, hoping and praying it doesn’t blow you away with it.

It need not be as sinister as the theft of your freedoms or attempt to manipulate humanity’s future like is happening right now at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. It can be something as common as a personal or business relationship gone sour in which you were sorely wronged that threatens to wreak havoc on your life and affairs.

What’s it all about?

What is important about all of this is that you must know and stand for yourself and what you believe is right (generally as guided by your inner voice), not only for the benefit of your own personal affairs, but also to do justice for your soul that demands recognition and alignment of you and your life with the best it holds for you inside.

That doesn’t mean you have to win. That’s not up to you, though your will, determination and effort will have a lot to do with it.

What it does mean is that you have to put your fear and hesitation aside and take the leap of faith that this is what you must do and that somehow and some way things will work out. Your back is to the wall, and you’re being forced to fight like hell for what you believe in and know is right.

This is no time to go along to get along, nor to hedge your bets and settle for something less than whatever will allow you to live with yourself and your life when the battle is done, however it turns out, knowing you gave it your all.

In short, standing against the storm may at some point require you to push all your chips to the center of the table, to borrow a metaphor from the game of poker. And though it may portend life and death consequences to you or those you love, this is indeed a game being played by the Presence within through the consciousness you know yourself to be (and theirs), to not only meet your needs in this life, but also to advance your journey back to the Creator from which you came.

It is your way of shouting to the Universe, “I matter, and I deserve to be treated fairly and my free will and right to evolve on my own terms should be respected.” And so you bring all that you are to the table, and maybe even all that you’ve acquired or worked to create over the years for yourself and your family, to make sure that it hears your voice.

If you look around, you’ll see many instances of it happening. Those who stood against forced vaccination were making such a stand. So are those who fight to be heard when their voices are stifled or suppressed. The examples are everywhere for those who would see. When you do, draw upon them for strength and inspiration to make your stand when and where you must.

I can’t tell you how or where that will be. Only you will know that for sure, and probably only when you reach the point where you don’t have any other choice.

What’s it got to do with Ascension?

Why is this important for Ascension? I’m glad you asked that question. Or at least, I was hoping you were.

Ascension is the process of moving to new densities of consciousness, where greater love and light can flow into and through us into our lives and world. As it does, it requires we let go of many of the old ways of a three-dimensional world that keep us locked into struggle and conflict. One of those ways is acquiescing to power and living on our knees.

In the old days, if a serf would dare to stand in the presence of his king, he risked having his head cut off. And your standing may have a similar effect now, if things don’t go well.

But at this moment in humanity’s evolutionary journey, the power of the soul and the presence within take precedence over the power of the sword. And though adversaries may smite you down, destroy your career or take all your money, the real battle is within you and your fear of the worldly repercussions of standing up for the best you know inside.

Until you release that fear, or at least act in spite of it, you will always stay chained to this 3D reality and may never ascend into the higher planes of existence. The war is not just for your life in the here and now, but for the future course of your soul’s journey through existence. As the saying goes, it’s better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

Well, your soul wants to fly. It wants to experience the possibilities of love and light that are so limited in much of our lives, and to set the stage for its own metamorphosis into higher levels of expression of the consciousness within that is waiting to be unleashed. It wants SPIRITUAL JUSTICE.

And so you must stand. How, when, where and for what is up to you (and your soul). Why is the promise of becoming more, both for you and the world around you.

For as you evolve into higher expressions of you, the energies you send out into the collective consciousness will begin to create a new world in which the old 3D ways can no longer exist, and others will be naturally uplifted along the way. If you don’t and stay locked in fear, succumbing to the tremendous pressures that will be placed upon you, things won’t change in our world, and most probably will get worse.

You see where it’s going. Only you standing up for you and what you know is right can turn the tide. Perhaps not alone, but if you don’t do your part, who will?

Please, stand. Stand! STAND!!!!!

God bless you indeed. Go with love.

World breakdown. It’s alright if you love it. It’s alright if you don’t.

I’m channeling my inner Tom Petty tonight listening to his “Breakdown” while chilling out here on our patio on this beautiful South Florida January night.

It reminds me of what’s going on in the outer world with all the crime, corruption, war and power games going on. The powers that be that do it or allow it to happen don’t give a damn if we like it or not. And it’s too freaking bad if we don’t.

We’ve been born into a reality where we have the illusion of free will, where we’re only free when we don’t step out of line or on the wrong toes. We certainly aren’t free to set the course for our common future.

That’s a real shame, because many of us came to show how to exercise that free will and assume the responsibility that comes with it. But expanding the consciousness be damned, the controllers don’t want that to happen, and that’s that.

I know I sound rather cynical that humanity will break its chains any time soon. That’s because I am. Even from my hermitage I put my ear to the ground and check the pulse of the collective consciousness. And while it’s still beating, it’s so slow you’d barely know it.

Much of that is because we’ve allowed ourselves to be lulled to sleep and led to believe that the System is our savior, and there is no higher power than the State. It giveth, and it taketh away – so we go along to get along and thank our lucky stars for the few crumbs that come out way.

What a mess we’ve gotten ourselves into. Descended masters trying to remember our divinity and recall how to mobilize the energies of creation, we can’t even muster the will to live lives that free us of all the struggle, suffering and conflict that makes life what it too often is in this world.

Yet spiritual teachers tell us to be in joy and at peace regardless of how high the shit piles up around our ears. Why is that, pray tell? Because they raise our individual vibrations and determine the nature of the energies we contribute to the collective consciousness, which by the way creates this reality. Good vibrations raise it, and good things happen. Bad things happen and down it goes, and we keep getting more of the same.

Why do you think the media is filled with fear porn and stories designed to shock, anger or depress you? Who would give them a moment’s notice if things were seen as good out there? We’d be out getting our highs on, instead of letting them bring us down.

If you’re a lightworker, I know you’re tired, and have had your share of frustrations just being yourself and doing what you do. Try as hard as you might, no matter how many you help along the way, there are always more waiting to suck the life out of you just to make theirs go a little better for a little while.

They don’t mean to. It’s just their vibrations are so low they can’t help but siphon off some of your good ones, and leave you wondering why you volunteered for this job. Gluttons for punishment we are, one and all. But that’s why you’re here, to do your part even if it never changes the big picture. And sometimes not even the little ones.

Somehow, though, we’ve got to find a way to marshal the forces needed to get us over the hump and uplift humanity once and for all. Unfortunately, that may not be up to us pawns in the great war between dark and light.

Our lot is to be stoic warriors for the light, to do our thing and do our best to keep our vibrations high while we do, despite the price we pay to do so. If enough of us do, maybe God will smile and raise this world into 4th density consciousness. And if not, perhaps at least relieve us of our duties here and let us ascend without them.

I won’t hold my breath. You probably shouldn’t either, regardless of the prophets who claim some event of mass Ascension is right around the corner.

I’ve heard that tale for thousands of years now, and frankly I’m tired of choking on the carrot they keep dangling. But hey, you do you. If it gives you hope or joy to believe, you just keep right on believing.

Me, I’ll suck it up and keep fighting the good fight, just like you probably will, too. It’s why we’re here. Never quit. That’s why they call it eternity.

“So long as sentient beings remain and suffering reigns . . . ,” as the Bodhisattva vow goes. Or something like that. You get the idea. We’re here for the duration, no matter how long it takes.

To paraphrase Tom Petty, “It’s alright if you love it. It’s alright if you don’t. I’m not afraid of you running away, but I’ve got a feeling you won’t.”

Your contribution is in your blood. It’s why you’re here. It’s why you’re awakening now. So keep on keeping on.

Whatever happens, don’t stop trying. Never quit. Take a break if you must, then get back in the game. It’s not like you have a choice anyway. That voice within won’t give you any peace until you do.

Happy New Year, my friend. Live it in love. Start with yourself.

God bless you indeed.
