Which way is up? We’ve built our world on shifting sands.

Things are really crazy these days as everyone fights to get their way. Moral relativism doesn’t make matters any better.
Without diving into the politics of it all, here’s the view of a young lady who drives it all home:
So what’s it all about? What’s it mean to us as awakening souls on a journey back to source, supposedly advanced by the experiences we get going through all this stuff?
I don’t know, but I’ll share how I see it.
When the foundations of your life and world are built on shifting sand, where do you find the support you need to take your next step? In a government that lies, cheats and steals to feed their lust for power and wealth? In the combatants who fight for new ways, or to hold onto old ones? In the media that wouldn’t know the truth if it hit them in the face?
I personally don’t find value in any of their words or deeds. Entertainment, yes, but value enough to jump on board and do what they want me to do? Not hardly.
What it means to me is that this outer world is not where it’s at, and that only by turning to my inner one can I find my way through the chaos and conflict. That means growing closer to my source, and allowing it to guide me to and through the experiences it brings to help me grow.
Setting my own course doesn’t seem to work, because it never seems to work out the way I want.
Letting go and letting God steer releases my attachment to the drama, and allows me to see it in ways that serve my spiritual journey, if not my effort to create the life that I want.
For my life is not my own. I’m on bonus time, and frankly don’t know why God has kept me around. So it’s best if I just sit back and let it happen, and then figure out how and where I’ll go from there.
It isn’t a formula to manifest my dreams, at least not those of the mind locked in this three-dimensional reality. But it does allow me to walk my talk of consciously advancing along the spiritual path by harmonizing myself with the life served up for me to live.
I know it probably doesn’t help much in making sense in what this lady is talking about, but she sees it clearly in my view.
Down is up. Up is down. And never the twain shall meet.
God bless you indeed.
