We can do better than this.

Everything that's happening now -- our personal struggles and sacrifices, the economic meltdown, global warming, even the corruption and power games played in Washington and abroad -- is allowing us to realize that what we've created isn't serving us very well.

And by seeing beyond the surface of the symptoms playing out to their underlying causes, we can choose another way.

What way is that? Well, that's for each of us to decide after searching inside for our part in the mess we now see.

So many people are going through such difficult times. Losing their health, their homes, their jobs, even those they love.

What is our responsibility to them? Even if we don't have the ability to fix it, do we have a duty to try? After all, many of us feel compassion for them and want to ease their suffering.

On the other hand, we know that it is of their own creation (remember, we create it all). So who are we to interfere with what they have created to be experienced?

Awakening to what we are is not usually a matter of an alarm going off and voila, we're wide awake. Rather, it is a process that begins at birth in our "first" life and continues until we complete our "last."

Each stage of that journey brings new challenges for us to experience and explore.

One of the greatest comes with the ego's expanding awareness of its other aspects (e.g., the soul or higher self) vis-a-vis its efforts to deal with the challenges of its life.

You are what you think you are. So look at yourself. How do you see yourself? What are the beliefs you hold about who you are, what you can do, and cannot? Can you see how those play out within your life, and in that picture you see looking back at you from the mirror?

Your life is the expression of that image you hold. What you see is what you get, so to speak. If you see yourself with limitations, your life will play out that way.

Now, the question is, how can you expand your concept of what you think you are?

Some of the biggest problems many lightworkers and awakening servers have stem from their relationship with money.

Here they are, gifted souls trying to help the world. Yet they struggle to help themselves by not attracting the money needed to sustain their lives and efforts to serve.
