Is the Status Quo Bringing You What You Want?
You say you want peace and prosperity in your life and in the world around you.
Yet how can that be, when you cling so tightly to the underpinnings of a status quo that keeps bringing so much struggle and conflict, and so little of what you want?
"Who, me?" you ask. "It's not my fault things are the way they are!"
But you're wrong, my friend. You have within you the very things that hold it in place, among which include:
How do you make your choices, and where are they leading you?
We each have our own paths to awakening, as well as to the experiences we came to get. While those paths are not always within our conscious determination, we certainly have the ability to influence the course by which we choose to go about our efforts in this world.
The challenges of your life are opportunities to move toward that awakening and perfection of what you are all about. The question is what will you need to see them as such, and seize the chance they offer you?
Obstacle to Community
I just got off the phone with a friend discussing our Lightbeaerer dinner group, and the direction to go with our local gatherings. It was quite eye-opening to see that I have been an obstacle to the manifestation of my own vision of community.
Laura and I started inviting friends to meet over a monthly dinner a couple years ago to discuss issues of community. I was hearing an inner call (as well as an outer one from an esoteric source) to take my discussions on community to a new level.
Preparing for a New Dawn
Circumstances are ripening for major changes in our world, but they're bringing with them chaos and conflict over the direction for our future.
The world ahead can be a more peaceful and harmonious place, with far less struggle and sacrifice. But it will not come by resisting the energies of change bombarding our world, for resistance brings distortion and manifests greater struggle between the extremes.
Find Your Peace Today!
Hello, my friend.
I'm John Dennison, and I'd like to talk with you about peace. It's something that's missing from too many of our lives, especially with the storms blowing through our world.
Strangely enough, I've been a man steeped in conflict throughout my life. As a practicing lawyer with decades in the arenas of human conflict, not to mention my extensive training in the martial arts, I've seen people at their worst, and conflict at its most basic levels.
But through it all, I've been a disciple of the light and student of energy and its uses. My inner explorations through meditation, spirituality, and the eastern philosophies allowed me to see those energies at work and the inner conditions that set them in motion.
