Do You Really Think an Election Will Change the Way Business is Done in Washington?

moneyIt's all a shell game, and we're the ones being manipulated by these elections into believing our choice -- or for that matter ANY choice -- will make a difference in the way our system is run.

Where Is the Truth?

truthThe law is said to be a search for truth. After more than three decades looking for it, I still haven't found it.

Anyone who's ever watched a good lawyer at work knows facts are not absolute. They can be twisted and turned just about any way we want to suit our needs.

But when facts are filtered, distorted and stretched to bolster one's position, it raises the question we all should be asking in every situation:

Overview of what I might offer you (with video)

I don't know about you, but one of the hardest things for me is trying to fit myself into a nice neat little package for others to know what I'm about and what I might offer them.

It's really a confusing process at times, because to me there's no separation among the many aspects of myself and my effort in the world. Nevertheless, trying to communicate it clearly can be quite difficult, for me at least.

Back during my law practice days, some of my most uncomfortable moments were at networking events when someone would ask, "So what do you specialize in?"

Empower Yourself to Choose Peace

Everywhere we turn life demands we make choices. The problem is, no one ever teaches us how to make them, much less expands the pool of possibilities we can choose from.

Though we ostensibly live in a world where we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, apparently few take it seriously.

Because going our own way isn't easy. Everyone around us is always trying to influence us, telling us what to do, how to do it, what to think, where to go, and just about anything else that pops into their minds.

Then again, we're probably doing the same to them.

No wonder individual choice, and the responsibility that goes with it, is a pipedream. Ours is a world based on conflict and control. And the name of the game is to assert our wills to get and do what we want.

Are You Thinking of Jumping into the Battle, Too?

In case you haven't noticed, there's a battle brewing, and the pot is beginning to boil.

People are feeling enough is enough on a whole range of issues involving government, social responsibility, and the influence of money and power over the conduct and course of our common affairs.
